Don’t feel bad if you didn’t know there was a prayer rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on May 1.   The $70,000 event drew hundreds of people, not 8,000 as expected.  Don’t worry, though.  Its organizers don’t think it was a failure.  Here’s an email sent to supporters:

There is a phrase for stupidity of this magnitude. It’s post hoc ergo propter hoc. It means “I am not capable of sober analysis of causation.”
