Twenty Aught Nine

January 1, 2010
by

It seems like a decent time to look back on the past year, and one of the biggest differences between 2009 and all the other years I have been in is Is It Luck. The blog began last February when I said to Ian, “hey Ian, want to start a blog together?” He was enthusiastic, and I got obsessive. In late May, Alexis helped us move from Blogspot to WordPress. We’ve had occasional guest posts from Alek, DJ, and Korbie, and spirited comments from JoJo, Jonathan and so many others over the last year.

Thanks to our loyal readers and commenters, I am happy to report that December was by far the most active month in our short history. Our overall average number of hits per day is 66, but December’s average was 118. With 3,669 hits last month, we beat our previous best month by 1,109. We’re set to hit 15,000 total hits in the next few days. By all signs, we’re growing faster than ever, and I’m looking forward to seeing where we go in 2010. I’m always open to suggestions and guest posts; just shoot me an email – sandwichface62[at]gmail.com – if you have any ideas. Thanks for all your support.

Happy New Year.
