William S. Burroughs peered down the well in which our nation was captive. When he lowered a rope, it wasn’t for rescue. It was to demand that America put the lotion in the basket.
Ginsberg got it right; it’s all so sinister.

    Shite, I’d never heard this a’fore. Read part of Junkie, I do recall. That Burroughs chap certain had a keen eye for talking about what other folks felt was too uncomfortable.
