If the Earth Had Rings, It Would Look Like This

And Ave Maria would ring out constantly.

That’s absolutely stunning. We should add some rings to earth.

I think the caption should read,

“If the Earth were round, it would look like this.”

And on that note, regarding our earlier discussion on trust and peer review:

Of all the flat earth hypothesis’s fatal flaws, perhaps the most vexing to me is your insistence that that countless photographs taken by space probes, satellites, and astronauts are all fabricated. That’s an unsustainable proposition that you have never answered for.

Aye, as well as the bounty of other evidence I’ve already given. You’ve never countered my points in that previous discussion. I’ve shown all your supposed evidence to be already overturned or faulty. There’s absolutely no reason to believe the earth is flat.

I am traveling right now and don’t have full internet access, but look, when you see something like this in the news, you have to be able to read between the lines:

Whatever inference you may properly draw from the fumblings of a bureaucracy, it ought not to include the fabrication of 60 years of space travel.

To do so is to cross the line from healthy skepticism to paranoid denialism.

Here is the famous flag swaying video. The stuff with the flag at the very beginning makes sense in terms of centrifugal force. This is not what we paranoid denialists (yes, I just invented the word denialist) are talking about. Towards the end of the video, around the 2:37 mark, as the title of the video states, the flag starts swaying slightly as if there were a draft blowing from the astronaut that walks by, something that could happen in a television studio, but not on the moon.

False. The rings would be purple.
