A Very Special Message From Is It Luck

April 15, 2009
by

Dear Lucksters (motherluckers?),

Ian and I are pleased to report that things are lucking up here at Is It Luck? We have more readers, and you all are staying on the site for longer and visiting more individual pages than ever before in this blog’s short history.

We want to keep the magic happening, so we’ve consulted our crack team of statisticians. They’ve made a raft of suggestions, one of which is our brand-new Pyramid Scheme Where Everyone Wins ©.

Here’s how it works:

1. Link to us on your Facebook page.

2. If you read any other blogs, ask them to post our link. Tell them we’ll reciprocate and we have
no standards. Is it a plumbing blog? Fine! Monkey porn? Even better!

3. Identify as many of your friends as you can who you think would like this blog. Send them an email telling them just how gnar kill merryluckster.blogspot.com is. Use the phrase “gnar kill”. Seriously.

4. If you have any thoughts about how we can get our name out, by all means – leave them in the comments.
5. ???
6. Profit!
See? Everyone wins! Get to it.

Theeeeeanks,

b ‘n’ i

P.S. – Here’s some gay ducks:

I already told you once to change that “Is It Luck?” language on the bottom right of the page. Conjures memories of “Is This Love?” by the rock band, Whitesnake.

Also, you should change the name of the blog to “Merry Luckluster” b/c that’s what I call it anyway.

Lastly, how about a pancake supper?

Love the blog, but the layout makes it hard for me to stick with the posts. I’d scale down your font, or broaden the text column, or both.

    xo,
    Aaron

FYI: Two people have saved this on delicious! Tag: blog. I added the tag friend. Creative, I know.
