Real Men Fuck Men. Sometimes. Naturally.
There’s nothing uglier to me than a homophobic woman. Seriously.
Women have fought hard for equality, based on a justifiable indignation at having fewer opportunities because of a genetic assignment. They did so and continue to do so with the ideal of pluralism as their guiding principle.
Except when they weigh in on men screwing men.
It may seem irksome to those with personal accounts of bigotry against them, and I’m sure those accounts would seem horrifying, but my sense of the disgust inherent in female homophobia leans on the classic definition of ‘homo’ as a gay man. This comes from the 700 times tonight alone I heard someone or another talk about girl-on-girl like it was a delicious dessert, rather than a sin against the Creator.
And I guess Barry’s photo of Ms. CPAC Homophobia 2010, two entries below this one, doesn’t hurt my case.
What makes the idea of female homophobia so repugnant in that instance is the idea that in spite of her very gender’s history of discriminatory struggle, this ignoramus is setting herself in front of the real world‘s lumbering pluralism like that Tiananmen Square dissenter, but her idealistic foundation is rotting, not courageous. After years of her own kind being the target of chauvinism, she manages to inflict a little of her own on the (one of the) new punching bag(s) of society.
What a load of shit, women. Heterosexual males are still in the Stone Ages with their threatened, “hunted” reaction to male homosexuality, and you want to sink to their level, rather than embrace your own commonalities with the other disenfranchised lot that likes dick?
You have a hell of a pile of shit to crawl out from under, Women at Large, because YOU are responsible for there being a Sarah Palin, for THE representative of your indubitable capability being an empty-headed hatecrow with a vaselined smile. Please, do us all a favor, and the next time you see one of these gay-panicked conservo-ditzes hold up a sign like the one two entries down, wrestle her to the ground. And sit on her face while I watch.
