Phil Plait, former president of the James Randi Educational Foundation, has posted his 10 favorite astronomy pictures of 2009 on his blog, Bad Astronomy. The crescent Earth is my favorite of the 10, but Plait had it at #8. There are some fantastic images, be sure to check them out.
